About Adora Decks - Sydney's Outdoor Living Specialists
Adora Decks is a design-and-build company creating custom outdoor living spaces for Sydney homeowners. We’re not a decking supplier who subcontracts the labour, and we’re not a landscaper who adds decks as a sideline. Designing and building outdoor spaces is the whole business.
Since starting out, we’ve built decks, pools, pergolas, patios, privacy screens and retaining walls across the Northern Beaches, Eastern Suburbs, North Shore, Hills District, Sutherland Shire, Greater Sydney and the Southern Highlands. Every project is drawn, quoted and built by us, from the first site visit to the final clean-up.
We’re fully licensed (Lic. 451245C) and insured, and every job is completed to Australian building standards. Whether you’re after a compact rear deck, a full poolside entertaining area, or a retaining wall to reclaim a sloping block, the approach is the same: understand how your family actually uses the space, design something that suits your budget, and build it so it still looks good in ten years.
The Team Behind Adora Decks
Adora Decks is a small, hands-on team, and that's deliberate.
Our lead builder brings years of practical experience across the building industry, along with a close eye on where outdoor living design is heading: the materials that are actually holding up in the Australian climate, the layouts families are asking for, and the finishes worth paying for versus the ones that just add cost.
He’s a parent himself, which shapes how we design. A deck that looks incredible in a photo but has nowhere to store pool toys, no shade for a toddler at midday, or a step-down the kids will trip over every afternoon isn’t a good deck. We think about where the barbecue goes, where wet towels end up, whether the pool pump is hidden, and how the space works on a Tuesday night as well as at a summer party.
The same team member oversees every project personally. He’s on site, he knows the detail of your build, and he’s the person who signs off on the finish before you do.

01 Free consultation and site visit
We come to you, walk the space, and talk through how you want to use it. No obligation, no charge.
02 Design and fixed quote
A clear design and a fixed-price quote, itemised, with materials specified, so you know exactly what you’re comparing.
03 Council and compliance
We handle the approvals and compliance for your build, including pool fencing and structural certification where relevant.
04 Build
One team on site through to completion, with updates as the build progresses.
05 Handover and maintenance guidance
We walk you through the finished space and give you straightforward advice on caring for the materials.
On timing: we’ll be honest about timing rather than promising a date we can’t hold. Outdoor building in Sydney is weather-dependent. We give a realistic window at quote stage, tell you as soon as anything changes, and work around a hard deadline where you have one.

We don’t push one product. What we specify depends on your budget, your maintenance appetite, how much sun the area gets and how close it sits to a pool.

Concrete for full design flexibility; fibreglass for a faster install and lower up-front cost. -
